Architecture submissions should be for a proposal located within Nottingham. It does not have to be a building; it could be a landscape design proposal or urban intervention for the city. Past winners have included interventions in derelict buildings, a school across the canal, sculptures in the Market Square and vertical farms for the city.
Design submissions should be inspired by, or relatable to Nottingham (for example its famous residents, its landscape and architecture or how you feel about Nottingham). Past winners have included pottery inspired by Byron, furniture inspired by Nottingham landmarks and light fittings, which have been inspired by Nottingham’s lace heritage. The opportunities are endless and there is no theme, so you can be super creative!
