Each category has a panel of expert judges to look at all the entries any winners and highly commended in age group. The judging panels will be sitting throughout March and April, once the awards have closed for entries to make their decisions.

Previous judges have included experts from Nottingham’s Creative institutions such as the Nottingham Contemporary, and from a wide range of contemporary Nottingham based creative arts businesses such as Curious, Michon Creative, Confetti and the National Videogame Arcade. There will also be representatives from the Young Creative Awards trustees,  sponsors, the business community and from One Nottingham, who organise the awards.

Category judging will be finished towards the end of April when a final judging panel will come together to decide on the overall winner of the Young Creative of the Year!

Entrants will be notified shortly afterwards as to whether their entry has been shortlisted and sent a special invitation to the awards ceremony on the 23rd May 2018 at the Nottingham Playhouse.
