At the beating heart of the annual Young Creative Awards is Young Creatives Nottingham, a registered charity (number 1168804).
It is the aim of Young Creatives Nottingham to nurture and support the next generation of writers, musicians, designers, actors, architects; to feed the creative minds that will help our local communities and businesses to flourish in the future, finding solutions to society’s problems and building a sense of belonging.
In 2019 we introduced a new programme of free masterclasses, workshops and events for young people in Nottingham. This year we are developing the ways we work with schools to inspire creativity in young people, no matter what their background. And, of course, every year it is our aim that the Young Creative Awards gets bigger, brighter and even more brilliant, whilst still remaining free to participate in and free to attend.
We could not do any of this without the generosity and support of our sponsors and donors, or the time and energy of volunteers – a growing community of magnificent individuals and organisations committed to investing in young creatives.
If you would like to find out more about how you can join this community, and help to inspire, celebrate and support the next generation of Nottingham creativity, then please get in touch with Nick Lawford by email or you can make a donation via Paypal by clicking on the image below or following this link. Thank you.
Another great way of supporting Young Creatives Nottingham is by purchasing our Nottingham Colouring Book, designed by 2017 Young Creative of the Year, Isobelle Farrar. Follow this link to find out more.
