We have been SO impressed by the number of young people who have entered this year’s Young Creative Awards, and by the creativity of everyone’s entries. Nottingham is certainly home to a talented bunch of young creatives!
Our expert judges have been having a very tough time selecting the shortlists this year – the quality of entries has been very high.
The decisions have, however, now been made, and we will begin announcing the finalists in each category on this coming Monday 8 June.
We will focus on a different category each day, announcing the short list via the Young Creative Awards Facebook, Instagram and Twitter at 5pm:

Tuesday 9 June – ANIMATION & DIGITAL MEDIA (sponsored by Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies)
Wednesday 10 June – VISUAL ARTS (sponsored by Nottingham Trent University)
Thursday 11 June – DESIGN & ARCHITECTURE (sponsored by Maber)
Friday 12 June – DANCE (sponsored by Dance4 and Nottingham CityCare Partnership)
Saturday 13 June – FILM (sponsored by Skeleton and Broadway)
Sunday 14 June – GRAPHIC DESIGN (sponsored by Nottingham College)
Monday 15 June – FASHION & TEXTILES (sponsored by Romo)
Tuesday 16 June – CREATIVE WRITING (sponsored by Nottingham City Libraries)
Wednesday 17 June – MUSIC (sponsored by Nottingham Music Hub)
The winners in all categories will then be announced on Monday 22 June.
In July, Notts TV will broadcast a special TV show about this year’s Young Creative Awards, showcasing work by the winners.
